Speaker BIO:

John M. Miller, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Director of Plans & Programs for the Air Force Research Lab at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He leads AFRL's 92-member plans and programs staff organization charged with developing and managing the process that defines the Air Force Research Laboratory's $2.5 billion annual investment in technologies for future Air Force systems and enables the alignment of science and technology resources.

Mr. Miller began his career with the Air Force in 1988 at the Aerospace Guidance and Metrology Center, Newark AFB, Ohio. His career spans various assignments and locations including a naval air station, logistics and product centers, major command headquarters and Air Staff. He most recently completed a successful assignment at the Pentagon as the Associate and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Acquisition Integration in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition. His experience covers engineering, program and logistics management and policy development.
